The Dichotomy…

I will now attempt to explain why I have 2 Twitter accounts, @6e10forrever and @cinnamonjames… I’ll try to be brief, but promise nothing… I joined Twitter to have some way of letting people know when I’d created something, and a way to connect with people who are interested. Then I discovered Twitter is a super fun medium for expressing the absurd things that come into my head. This fits into why I signed up. Twitter, for me, was a place to share things I’d made up. That’s why it’s named after my website, and not me, personally.

Back on point: it came to pass that I started using Twitter to share thoughts, feelings & ideas I held as true. These did not fit. The tension between “real life” and “make believe” was untenable, and so I stopped posting statements I’d made up. Until last week, when I made up some facts about Friday 13th. I realised how much I miss writing micro-fiction. I wanted to start again. So, @6e10forever is a place for me to share things I’d made up. @cinnamonjames is to continue the bloggy-style tweets of recent months. Fingers crossed I don’t develop a personality disorder over this.
