18 Monsters: Eighteen
On Sunday, 8th January, I was teaching on the faithfulness of God, and learning from experience, at church. To that end, I drew 18 monsters.
Having drawn 18 monsters, I wrote a little html game for us to play. There are 6 screens, each with 4 potential hiding places / escape routes. If you get caught by a monster, the game resets and it is someone else’s go.
I told a story to link the...

The Dichotomy...
I will now attempt to explain why I have 2 Twitter accounts, @6e10forrever and @cinnamonjames… I’ll try to be brief, but promise nothing…
I joined Twitter to have some way of letting people know when I’d created something, and a way to connect with people who are interested. Then I discovered Twitter is a super fun medium for expressing the absurd things that come into my...

Letters to the Moon
So I drew this almost 2 years ago, and totally loved it and still love it, but I’m only showing it to you now.
Why?
For REASONS.

Armour of God (sketch)
Prep sketch for a painting I’m working on for church. Pastor says her dress can’t be see-through in the final, though. But I already knew that.
Inasmuch as I drew this last Thursday, I could have easily scanned and posted it in time for New Drawing Monday, or at any time since then. Maybe I’m just not cut out for consistency.

I declare this Teddy Appreciation Day. Teddies do so much, but ask so little, let’s give something back.

The Words You Can't Take Back (detail)
Found this whilst looking through some old drawings.
It’s about 4 or 5 years old, so it’s probably time for me to finish it…
Perhaps I’ll have it done for next Monday…

Rock, Paper: Schism!
I’ve invented a new game, you guys! It’s called “Rock, Paper: Schism!”
The idea is, you get a piece of paper, write something on it, and throw it through the window of a family, business or organisation, and by means only of what you wrote on the paper, attempt to get the recipients to turn against each other, rather than turning on you.
Fun for all the family!

Perhaps you remember Time and Tide (detail) and are wondering what became of the larger picture?
Stop wondering. Just stop.
Because the answer is before your very eyes.
Perhaps you are now wondering if this is is the final version, if this is ‘canon’ and no further revisions will ensue?
Let me tell you: further revisions may well ensue.

Sometimes I get sleepy in the day...
… and then I go to sleep in the day and I wake up at bedtime and intend to be productive but inevitably spend the night on facebook and Dinosaur Comics. This might be awesome, except I usually don’t eat, and I find thinking difficult, meaning two of my favourite activities are neglected/sullied.
It’s kinda weird to me that I’m blogging this, since I rarely blog even when...
